Eve Andree Laramee : The Eroded Terrain of Memory (1990)

This piece is from the same book, Installation Art, this is based on the geological history of her university. (Wesleyan Uni Gallery, Middletown, Connecticut.) Her University where she studied is situation on two major geological faults. This piece depicts these fault lines: it's a suspended glass faultline, made from mobile glass plates, steel wire and mica, quartz and feldspar: representing the earth/ ground.
Maybe we could base our work on geological facts about our area of london we are situated in, or just the general area?? Let me know your thoughts, elizabeth.x
